Method
Cook the hash browns
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat with a little oil.
- Cook the hash browns until golden and crispy, about 6–8 minutes. Remove and set aside.
Cook the turkey sausage
- In the same skillet cook the ground turkey sausage over medium heat, breaking it apart as it cooks until browned and fully cooked.
Assemble the burritos
- Lay out the tortillas and layer the filling directly onto the tortilla: scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, crispy hash browns, diced green chiles, shredded cheddar cheese
- Add about ¾–1 cup total filling per burrito.
- Fold in the sides and roll tightly into burritos.
Freeze
- Wrap each burrito tightly in foil or parchment paper and place them in a freezer-safe bag.
- Freeze for up to 3 months.
